Texas Brass Fest - 2025

This weekend, the Band took part in the 2025 Texas Brass Fest which is a celebration of British Brass Band music. This year's event was a huge success with the attendance growing to seven bands, Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, Houston, Tulsa, Natural State and Frontier Brass Bands.

A welcome first for this year’s event was the addition of the Middle School and High School Youth Brass Bands who join together in concert under the wonderful direction of Michael Garasi.

Part of the festival included a Quick March and slow melody competition. The Band would like to thank you to the TBF NABBA judges Amanda Drinkwater, David Child, and Suzanne Bell, for adjudicating the performances of each band.

Dallas Brass Band took top honors with the Quick March and Slow Melody competitions with Frontier Brass Band taking runner up prizes. Also, congratulations to Jason Browne (Flugelhorn) and Dayne Delahoussaye (Solo Eb horn) for being recognized by the judges for their outstanding solo performances during HBBs program.
